I was born in South Glamorgan, Wales - and you know what they say in Wales - two's company, three's a choir!
I
started off as a folk singer, and my music is still based on folk
although it changes with the years and the more life experiences I go
through!
I started singing at the age of about 5 years old, as
my parents used to be in musicals by Gilbert & Sullivan - the ones
I remember most are 'The Mikado' & 'HMS Pinafore'. As they used to
play the music in the car for the very long journeys in Europe, I
learnt the songs by heart and still remember all the words!
I
was given my first guitar when I was 14 years old. One week later, I
had taught myself some Beatles songs, and never looked back. I wrote my
first song when I was 16, and have continued to write more songs since
then.
